The croissants at breakfast were a flaky delight that put a smile on my face! Plus, the hotel is right next to El Huachinango Feliz, where I snagged some incredible seafood. The unique museum atmosphere and warm staff made the whole experience feel authentic.

A few of the rooms are in a separate building down the way. I could hear some noise outside that was a tad distracting, and the curtains didn’t block out the streetlights well.

The air conditioning was great, but my room felt a bit stuffy sometimes.

The noise levels at night from nearby restaurants were unbearable, making it difficult to sleep. The separate building I was assigned to had minimal soundproofing, allowing all the outside chatter to seep in and disrupt my rest. Additionally, the curtains did not block out the streetlights adequately, leaving the room too bright for comfort during nighttime.

Charming Atmosphere with Unique Museum Experience

I recently stayed at a charming hotel that also serves as a museum, which really enhances the cultural experience. The replicas of Maya steles were fascinating, making it a unique place to stay while exploring the rich history of Palenque. The staff was not only warm but also incredibly helpful, going out of their way to assist with local insights and tour arrangements. However, I found the air circulation in the room could use some improvement, as it was a bit humid at times.

We enjoyed exploring the nearby ruins with our child, who loved the incredible history. The owner, Marco, made us feel right at home and gave us great tips for family-friendly activities. Plus, the refreshing pool was perfect for cooling off after a busy day.

My kids wished there were more family-oriented activities on-site.

Quiet atmosphere & unique experience with replicas of Mayan art all around. Enjoyed the reference to Pakal's tomb, like being in a museum but more comfortable for sleeping.

Not the cheapest option out there, but you get what you pay for.
